Meet Dr. Priyanka Dr. Geetha Priyanka is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in Brevard County since August of 2003. She graduated from Coimbatore Medical College in India and did her residency at Jersey City Medical Center. She is also a graduate of the Mount Sinai Hospital of New York. Dr. Priyanka is an independent physician, and her patients currently range from ages 18 to 102. She strongly believes in continuity of care and being available for her patients in any way possible. Dr. Priyanka is very active in the senior living communities, making onsite visits at The Fountains of Melbourne, Hibiscus Court, Emeritus of Melbourne, Sterling House, and Clairebridge. She also sees patients at Melbourne Terrace Rehabilitation Center and has privileges at Holmes Regional Medical Center and Wuesthoff Hospital in Melbourne. Her office has been awarded the Patient's Choice Award for two consecutive years (2008 and 2009). "This was entirely a team effort of the whole staff," says Dr. Priyanka, "[They] really believe in being responsible, accountable and serving the needs of the patients with passion and in a timely manner." Dr. Priyanka has also been serving as Medical Director of DoctorsPartner EMR & PM (Electronic Medical Records & Practice Management) and Sushoo HIE (Health Information Exchange) since October of 2009. She is currently a member of eHealth Initiative (Transforming Care Delivery to Point of Care) in Washington, DC. Her passion is enhancing communication among healthcare providers in order to simplify and connect the healthcare system. Dr. Geetha Priyanka is also the mother of two lovely girls whom she absolutely loves and wishes she could spend more time with. Meet Our Staff
